WP0 : Project launching and co-ordination

The Work-package 0, dealing with co-ordination and management allows the general management of the project, including the day-to-day management by the operational co-ordination team (BRGM), the scientific co-leader (JRC-IRMM) and the Scientific Council in close link with the project consortium

  • The management planning of the WP0 is performed with the frequency of scientific council meetings (every six months) and general project meetings (one per year after the kick off meeting).

  • The scientific council is composed of the Co-ordinator and the WP leaders who lead and co-ordinate the operational work packages (WP1 to WP4) of the EAQC-WISE project.

  • The project consortium includes the Co-ordinator and a representative of each participating institution.

  • The advisory forum will review the main results of the project and will provide advice to the Scientific Council about the relevance of the results of the EAQC-WISE project with respect to the requirements of the WFD and the Thematic Strategy For Soil Protection




  • The commission through the JRC-IRMM have a clear coordination role with strong links within CIS ad-hoc working group(s) as well as with the group of Chemical Monitoring Activities.
  • Information on the progress of the EAQC – WISE project will be made available through this web site interface and through information provided to the Working Groups of the CIS of the WFD.
  • This project outputs will reinforce the link between MS in the framework of CIS as well as CMA
