EAQC-WISE is registered as a STREP (Specific Targeted Research Project), priority 8 « Scientific Support to Policies,
section 1.1.5 « Environmental assessment (soil, water, air, noise, including the effects of chemical substances) ».
The contract number is : 022603
The project coordination is carried out by the co-ordinator (BRGM), which is backed up by a co-leader (IRMM)
as the scientific co-ordinator.
The project was launched on the 1st December 2005, for a duration of 3 years.
The total budget is 1.776 M€ (the EC contribution is 1.014 M€)
A multidisciplanary partnership which involves
17 partners
from 10 countries (7 ‘old’ EU Member States
(FR, EC, AT, D, IT, NL, SK, UK) and 3 ‘new’ EU Member States (PL, SE, SL).
